A double bill of new short plays from Jane Stokes and Melville Lovatt

THE SEANCE by Jane Stokes 

"Pat visits a medium hoping to get in touch with her late husband, Pete.  When she can't get through to him we wonder: Is this psychic all she's cracked up to be, or is something more sinister going on?"

Jane Stokes is a published academic who has taught film and media studies for many years. Jane currently teaches at the University of the Arts, London. She has been studying creative writing for some time and presents her work here as she prepares to launch a second career in writing for stage and screen.  


THE KISS by Melville Lovatt

'Simon observes his wife and best friend locked in an embrace. The kiss is long, passionate and highly inappropriate. Simon is convinced they must be having an affair and plans a terrible revenge...'

Melville Lovatt is an award winning playwright, monologue writer and poet, whose work has been widely performed in smaller theatres throughout London. 


His latest play, 'The Distressed Table' is being performed with 'Quest for the Mongolian Death Worm' by Liam O'Grady in a double bill at The Barons Court Theatre, London from 26th March to 30th March. For ticket information and more about the plays, please click on the link below.
