John's plays have been performed by a number of theatre companies and featured in several festivals. He was short-listed for a Channel 4 comedy drama award and twice long-listed for the Kenneth Branagh New Drama Writing Award. John has IMDB credits for two episodes of a TV sitcom called Marshall's Law, twice won the Player Playwrights Best Comedy Award and his Edinburgh and Camden Fringe debuts received several four and five star reviews.
