In a villa on a private island, four people await the arrival of a billionaire collector; his embittered second wife, an art dealer, a mixed-race artist in residence and the curator of a national museum, who arrives with a priceless painting.


When the 20th century masterpiece disappears, all are suspects...


PRIVATE VIEW IS A 60 minute play about avarice, forgery, the making of and the human cost of owning art.


Marc Blake is an author and playwright. He has offered several short and long plays to PP, including SWIPE, KILLING STEVE, AREA 52 and a short, THE MAN WHO KILLED KENNEDY.

AREA 52 played at the Tristan Bates and his one-man show HOW FAR IS LUNCH? concerning the tourist industry played at the Camden fringe.
