A slight change in format this coming Monday: An evening of short plays curated by Joanne Bhouri with the aim of discussing how ideas are formed, if and how they might be developed and the benefits of workshopping with actors, amongst other tools.
The evening pieces:
CLUTTER - scenes from a T.V. comedy by Mary Conway and Peter Vincent
DUET FOR FOUR - a play by Michael Barry
SANDANCER - a scene written in response to a Theatre 503 play by Joanne Bhouri
THE PRIME MINISTER ADDRESSES THE NATION - a monologue by Francis Beckett
During lockdown Player Playwright went online. The online events proved a success and so for this coming season we plan to alternate between live events at our traditional home, Upstairs at the North London Tavern, and online via Zoom.
This event will be Upstairs@NorthLondonTavern
