Francis Beckett is an author, journalist and playwright. His latest book, Fascist in the Family (Routledge, 2017), is a semi-autobiographical account of the life of his own father. His plays have appeared on the London fringe and on radio, and two of them are published by Samuel French. He has written a biography of Atlee.
