Monkey Business is a quirky, bitter-sweet drama inspired by Steve Peters' book The Chimp Paradox.
It explores the idea that each of us has two brains - a human brain and a 'chimp' brain. Caroline is a communications professional and Lucy is her 'chimp'.
The story unfolds through their playful and stormy relationship. Set in contemporary London the play navigates the borders of mental health and mental breakdown."

For 20 years Jane Gerson worked in film exhibition and development for the British Film Institute and Southern Arts.
She later studied history at Southampton University where she took a doctorate and became a part-time lecturer.
Two of her plays have been produced for BBC R4.
