Join us next Monday for a staged reading of The Fox, a short play by new writer-member Christian Kinde.
Based on a story by DH Lawrence, The Fox is about two single women trying to run a small farm with chickens. They have no male help – this is just after the First World War – but they have a foxy intruder. Those of a sensitive disposition are warned that the shotgun that is flourished at the beginning of the play goes off at the end. But who cops it? Come along and find out. Don’t forget: There’s still time to enter Player Playwrights’ upcoming competition. We are looking for short plays, between 5 and ten minutes long, on the theme of ”The Playwriting Class”.Email scripts to Rebecca Finch at rebeccalfinch@gmail.com by Monday 27March 2017.
